Campo de’ Fiori Market in Rome
What I like about this place the most is the colours, smells and flavour. Beautiful stands full of fresh fruit and veggies you can choose what ever you want for your walking tour around Rome.
If you want you can stay in one of the restaurants and observe vendors and people trying different type of typical liquore Limoncello made of lemons from Amalfi Coast or trying truffles spread jummy 🙂 you should try it.
I would suggest that you take a seat in one of the restaurants and order cheese and meat board, olives, bruschetta and just try one of the best aperitivo together with Spritz. You won’t regret your choice.
You can buy anything in this square as already mentioned fruit and veggie, pasta, liquore, cheese, spices, clothes and flowers. What would it be Flower Square without flowers. There is small shop that has a big choice of flowers but try to get there in the morning so you have a big selection.
The tiny streets from Campo de’Fiori will take you to Piazza Navona square with famous 4 river fountain. This is another great place but if I would have to choose I defiantly go for flower market. Me personally I can stay there long time readying my newspaper or writing my blog with a cup of cappuccino and a croissant for a good start of the day. Would you like to join me one day? Croissant and coffee are on me 😉
